St Margaret’s is a small Arts and Crafts style church with a wooden lychgate fronting onto the road. Parking is normally on the opposite side of the road to the church.
For SatNav users, the postcode is DG7 3RP. If entering New Galloway from the east, A713 and A712, St Margaret’s will be on your right just as you come into the village, just opposite the War Memorial. From the south, A762, follow the Main Street down and St Margaret’s will be on your left just before leaving the village. If coming from the west, A712, or the north, A762, turn left at the junction and St Margaret’s will be on your left after a couple of hundred yards.
From the road there is a slight slope up to the ramp with rail that leads to the church door. Inside the porch there is a wheelchair available if required, and toilet facilities with disabled access. The church has an audio-loop for the hard-of-hearing and large print service booklets.
